Aside from my engagement ring, the oldest thing I wore today was my smile! I was in NYC for an orthodontic appointment—working on improving this ol’ grin of mine.
I took a visit to the Museum of Modern Art while I was in the city. Inspired by beautiful phrasings created by curators and the signage from the artists throughout my visit, I began to jot them down. The following poem uses only word couplings found on signage throughout the exhibits to evoke the experience of the art viewer as they grasp at meaning behind the images.

An inward turn.
