Second Annual Weir Inspired Show at Wilton Library, November 3 – December 31, 2025

Earlier today I shared about my three art shows opening this week for the Bridgeport Art Trail. What I failed to mention is that I have another art show opening this week, in another town. And an ongoing digital show.

Yep, you heard right. five art shows. six different works.

Art and community. I’m lucky enough to continue to encounter opportunities that offer both more frequently than ever. However, I will always hold dear my first formal art group, The Weir Farm Artist Collective.

Our first group show was last year at the Wilton Library. I had two pieces in the show, and it was the first time my work was in a gallery.

My painting even got its own wall!

This year we had another show at the Bruce S. Kershner Gallery at the Fairfield Public Library. That’s my home library, so being included in that show was a special marker for me.

I wasn’t able to make the opening for this gallery, because we were in the Philippines. But the day I went to see my work on display and my seven-year-old snapped the above picture, before I got home I received an email-I got my first print sale from my online store! Here’s a styled photo of the original:

We’re back again at the Wilton Library for another round this year, and we have a digital show ongoing through the National Park Service website. You can view a small image of my painting Weir Blooming here.

Firsts Galore!

As you can see, many of my firsts revolve around the park–even more than listed above. Fingers crossed that this year is when I get my first dot sticker on the label of a painting–that means it sold through the gallery!
